Hair Extension Courses

Trend Hair Extensions training

Hi all, Ive just about got around to talking a bit more about our “Hair Extension Courses”. We are running these at Trend Hair Salon in High Wycombe.

To run the courses

To begin with I achieved a NVQ level 3 in Hair Extensions. In addition I took teachers qualification. Once passed I had enough qualifications and experience to become a teacher in the field I love the most. After designing and developing a course that I was happy with It was approved by HABIA  (Hair and Beauty Industry Authority)

In order to offer a high quality course and increase the standard of hair extensions application for potential clients, We offer an informative and well run educational program. In addition we insist that the students hold a recognised certificate in hair dressing or are working towards one. This enables us to get straight to the important part of the hair extensions training. As a result our students will feel competent and confident in the skills that are passed on by us.

This two day course consists of one day (the first day) theory where we will cover:

  • Client Consultation
  • Pre-testing Services
  • Health and Safety procedures
  • Equipment
  • Safe Working Practices
  • Application
  • Removal
  • Cutting
  • Aftercare

Second day will enable the student to showcase their skills by applying a head of extensions on a model.

On Completion

The successful students will have enough knowledge and skills to work freelance or in a salon due to the high standard of training. Additionally, newly qualified hair extension technicians will know they are able to purchase good quality hair from the place they trained. Trend Hair Extensions are there to continue to offer support and advice to their students.
