I was surprised to learn recently that Kim Kardashion’s gorgeous dark locks were not all of her own. It was only when I saw pictures of her in a gossip magazine without her hair extensions, I reminded myself that it is a rarity for any woman to naturally have the length and volume that Kim Kardashion had been sporting for all this time. So ladies, when you see all these pictures in magazines and on television of the extraordinary beauty that is thrust upon us, just remember this beauty is probably never without the help of additions, the odd cosmetic surgery and countless stylists to hand.
Hair Aftercare for your hair extensions
Good aftercare for your hair extensions is paramount to keeping your hair looking and feeling superb for the full 3 months. After using a few hair aftercare products myself, I found that some left my hair feeling sticky or almost plastic. Luckily I came across the Crème of Nature products which I have to say are my favourite. The moisture-enriched Argan Oil products nourish and hydrate your hair without leaving any unnatural sticky or cloggy feeling.
For regular use, whenever washing your hair, the Strength and Shine Leave-in conditioner is a great product. Spray onto damp hair before drying and styling and you will notice the difference immediately.
Another one that I rave about is the Intense conditioning treatment. If you are a regular wearer of hair extensions, this is a must investment. It only requires a small amount of treatment on the mid-lengths to ends as little as once every two to three weeks and it will transform the feeling of your hair. It really does work and will last a long time due to the small amount required.
Both these products and other Crème of Nature products can be found in our on-line shop and will be sent to you next day free delivery..
Go take a look..
This years Oscars didn’t fail to impress.
Side-swept half up-do’s was one the biggest Trends which was worn effortlessly by Sandra Bullock and Jessica Biel.
This is such an easy look to achieve by using a wand or hot iron to create loose waves which can be gently pinned to the side with bobby pins and teased into place with hair spray.
The other noticeable Trend was old Hollywood.
Cate Blanchett and Lady Gaga’s blonde locks although worn in very different styles seemed to be inspired by 40’s glamour.
However, our favourite was Margot Robbie..What a transformation from the very blonde character she played in Wolf of Wall Street but she showed off a very new, very dark and tousled hair style… stunning!
Who was your favourite??
I was disappointed last night to see that Nicole Scherzinger had cut off her hair into a bob. Don’t get me wrong, the woman is absolutely stunning regardless of her hair length but it just didn’t do it for me.
Previously I had always admired her beautiful, long, dark hair and was never quite sure whether it was natural or achieved through additions. I guess we will soon find out as my bet is that it wont take too long before she has hair extensions fitted to get back to normal. This is why hair extensions are so good as they let you experiment with different styles and lengths safe in the knowledge that you can add some bonds to get back to long, gorgeous hair..
Im a Celebrity Amy Willerton. I had been looking at her and trying to work out whether or not she has hair extensions but tonight she made it clear that she is entirely natural. Wow! the girl is stunning with no make-up or Trend Hair Extensions! However, more importantly, she comes across as being a really nice person. Articulate and able to hold her own when there are other members of the camp almost telling her off because she has been born with a natural beauty that I and most of us should only admire. So what if she has made her living from beauty pageants and modelling. Rebecca Adlington has made her carer through swimming. a talent that she has been born with and many others may be envious of. Lucy Pargeter has been able to pursue a career in acting, one of the hardest industry to break your way into, so why is this beautiful lovely young lady, who has been successful in what she has chosen to do been made to feel like she has to justify her choice. Amy Willerton, I am in awe x
In response to some feedback from our on-line shop, we will be looking to stock some variations in hair type and lengths. Although the most popular length is still the 20# there will be some 16# coming soon. Perfect for adding volume to longer hair or just if your client wants a more natural length. Prices will be announced shortly.
Although for me, the most natural and long lasting result is achieved with the pre-bonded hair, Micro-loops are great for a more temporary answer to long hair. I would be interested to hear from any hair extensionists out there that would be wanting to purchase great quality micro-loops at a very good price and a trustworthy source.

There’s a definite chill in the air and autumn has finally arrived.
I don’t know about you but I love the crisp cold mornings with gorgeous golden, orange and reddish tones to the scenery.

I said I would update you on the biggest trending hair style at Vfest. I was surprised to see less of the long flowing locks with hippie style plaits that we normally associate with festivals. Instead everywhere I looked there were buns! Neat, slicked back and pulled tight to the head.
In India, it is common for female college professors to wear their hair in a bun, in order to identify with their profession and in China double buns, called Ox Horns, are often seen when traditional attire is worn.
Although practical and smart, the bun is not really the most flattering for everyone. It normally suits, oval or round face shapes but it can be adapted in many different ways.
The current trend is sleek and neat, almost like the “ballet bun” but if you have a square face shape, or want something softer, maybe try a chignon. The word “chignon” comes from the French phrase “chignon du cou,” which means nape of the neck. Chignons are generally achieved by pinning the hair into a knot at the nape of the neck and by leaving some of the hair out and creating some soft curls around the front, this type of bun can be more versatile and suit most face shapes.

This very popular Trend has derived from dip-dye and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
Judging by the amount of celebrities still wearing this look, I think it will still be going strong way into the autumn/winter months.
Jessica Alba, J-Lo and Mischa-Barton have all worn the ombre look and have shown the different variations that can be achieved.
If you think ombre is not for you, why not try it out by adding slightly lighter or golden tones to the ends of your hair, or if you dare, you can go for shocking colours or the very fashion-forward pastel’s.
The options are endless and I think that is why this diverse trend will be around for a little while yet.
Here is a natural sunkist ombre look that I created by using hair extensions. The blonde bonds were placed underneath the natural hair which meant my client didn’t have a single spot of bleach.
So whether it is texture and glamour or the shock and wow factor you are after, give it a go..its a look that is definitely on Trend for this summer..
The last few months have been a busy time for me. I recently completed my level III hair extensions course, launched my new web-site and re branded my company.
I’m really happy with the results and it was worth all the hard work.
The course I went on was totally inspiring and it has made me realise how important it is to keep up to date with current “Hair Trends” and changes within the hair and fashion industry.
Top fashion houses will determine what we all wear and how we have our hair months before we have any idea. I wonder where they get their inspiration from!
In Versace’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collection Donatella Versace presented a sexy punk feel with studs, tight fitted vinyl and staples. Here I decided to create my own punk hair style below:
The orange flashes of colour are hair extensions or additions as we like to call them now. They show that extensions don’t always have to be about long hair, they can be used to create interest to any hair style without having to bleach or colour your natural hair..
It’s great to experiment with hair extensions and try to do something a bit different 🙂
